New leaks show what the highly anticipated iPhone 17 Air will look like, which will be the thinnest phone ever made by Apple.

A new render of the device, which is expected to be released later this year alongside the new iPhone 17 lineup, was shown in a video by famous leaker Jon Prosser.

In Prosser’s clip, posted on YouTube, you can see high-quality renders of what could be the final design of the product, which features an extremely thin thickness.

Prosser stated that the device will be about 5.5 mm thick at its thinnest point, surpassing the 5.9 mm of the iPhone 6, making it the thinnest phone Apple has ever produced.

Nevertheless, Apple still has a thinner product in its catalog. It’s the iPad Pro OLED with M4 chip, released in May 2024, which measures only 5.1 mm thick.

Even so, if the leaks are confirmed, the iPhone 17 Air will compete directly with Samsung, which recently announced the Galaxy S25 Edge, expected to hit the market with a thickness of 5.8 mm.
